Malibu Lights: Add Beauty, Drama and
Safety to Your Home

When looking for lighting solutions for our new home I didn't have to look any further than Malibu lights. Using their website I was able find a local retailer and outfit our new home with a variety of helpful and attractive lighting products. I couldn't be happier that I found them.

Our new home was located in a semi-rural portion of town in the beginning. The suburbs had not filled out the farmland to the point where street lights would have been a common occurrence. So, without lighting our outdoors, the nights were pretty black—aside from the stars and the occasional full moon. I wanted a little more illumination to the outdoor surroundings of my dream home. The choice was primarily about safety, but appearance was another major factor.

Step lights for the short brick walkway up the hill to our house were the first purchase. After that, I wanted some light shed on decorative hanging plants near the front of the house. In our decorative pond in the front yard, I purchased and placed a Malibu light built especially for underwater use. Continuing on, we put some pleasant lighting around the edges of our deck in the rear of the house.

After a while, every corner of our yard owed a little of its glow to a Malibu light. The lighting was perfect—no doubt about it. The suburbs caught up with us fairly quickly. We now have a few more street lamps than before, but we still enjoy the glow of our Malibu lights.

At the moment we employ the use of Malibu's many bug deterrents. It has proved a helpful tool in the fight against mosquitoes and the diseases they can carry. My children certainly prefer a comfortable wristband to being sprayed with bug repellant every time they venture outside in the balmy months of summer.

The lights continue to add beauty, safety and drama to our home. Their glow illuminates our humble home front to back with aesthetically pleasing lighting fixtures which work well with our landscaping and the exterior of our home. I owe a lot of thanks to Malibu lights.
